Philosophy on ESG
To fulfill our social responsibilities as a corporation, DIT prioritizes an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-based approach, and in this regard, we take our business activities seriously.
Specific Initiatives
E (Environment)
We engage in environmentally conscious business activities such as promoting decarbonization.
■Identification of GHG emissions
We calculate carbon dioxide emissions resulting from use of electricity at the Headquarter offices with plans to consider reduction initiatives.
■Paperless promotion
We inventory paper used mainly in back-office departments and identify what files can be converted to data. We promote paperless initiatives whenever possible.
We also promote paperless efforts at customer companies by introducing DD-CONNECT, our electronic contract outsourcing service.
■Raising awareness of appropriate office temperature control
S (Social)
We offer working environments designed with employee health and safety in mind, and to ensure the comfort of diverse personnel such as women and foreign nationals.
■Customer privacy and data protection
To comply with personal information protection laws and other related norms, DIT has established rules and systems to facilitate the appropriate execution of business based on the characteristics of the information service industry, which handles a large amount of varied information, including personal information.
■Contributing to local communities
Ehime Company was established in April 2013 in Ehime Prefecture, the birthplace of our founder.
This organization is involved in creating local employment and regional revitalization.
■Fostering employee awareness and job satisfaction, and establishment of an education and training system
To strengthen its human resources, DIT has established full-featured training programs and actively promotes health management, appoints employees with proven track records to management positions regardless of age or gender, and develops environments and systems to make it a comfortable company for its employees.
